Why do we collect this data

Who manages your data

All personal data is managed by the Ethical Technology Institute. The data is only accessible to the Ethical Technology Institute who needs it to perform our tasks.

In this case, we always ensure that your data is treated confidentially and used securely by contractually agreeing this with the processors. We offer maximum protection for your personal information and privacy. The Ethical Technology Institute is trained in the correct handling of confidential data. We rely on services responsible for the security of our infrastructure and we purchase specialist services to ensure the security of our IT infrastructure. We also take a variety of technical measures to protect your personal information. If a data breach occurs with unfavorable consequences for your personal data, you will be personally informed under the legal conditions.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to access your data. The Ethical Technology Institute has 30 days to respond to your request. This period starts when the Ethical Technology Institute receives your request in writing and has all the information available necessary to fulfill your request.

You also have the right to have incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate or outdated personal data corrected or deleted. You can always contact us by e-mail or post. We will then always change this information within the legally established deadlines. Please note that we may then no longer be able to offer you certain services, depending on your request. We cannot always delete the requested data, for example because we are legally obliged to keep data for a certain period of time. How long do we keep your personal data

We process user data for up to ten years or up to ten years after the last operational customer contact between us, or up to 26 months for traffic data.
